The Albuquerque Newcomers' Club is a great resource for getting out and mingling with other newcomers as well as learning more about the city. Activities scheduled are: Arts & Crafts, Bike Club, Book Club, Bowling, Breakfast Club, Bridge Night, Cocktail Parties, Coffee Socials, Dining Out, Game Night, Gardening, Golf, Gourment Cooking, Local Festivals, Luncheons, Movie Night, Penny Poker, Travel & Tours, Walking Group and Wine Tasting. Try them out for 3 events before becoming a member. After that membership dues (single, couple or family) are $26 annually and after July, the rate is reduced to $13.
